Nothing like the ghetto

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008

Got to the last Alabama store we are doing for the week a while ago. Most small towns have a good and bad side to the tracks. Unfortunately this town has no train tracks at all so there isnt a good side, its all just ghetto. Oh and we’re attached to the Belks at the Selma Mall… Fun times.

Hotel + Alabama (work) + Internet (Thank God) = Still Bored

Monday, February 4th, 2008

So yea, Cory and I are sitting in our hotel room watching television. There is a documentary on National Geographic about America’s Prisons; its actually interesting, but never the less it still shows how bored we are. With the time change its really 7:55pm, and we’ve got to be at work at 9:00pm. It was 192.1 miles here (Montgomery AL) and we’re doing two stores over the next two days. I should hopefully be home sometime early Wednesday morning. We rode together, so Cory’s car is at my house. Thankfully after the long drive home after work tomorrow, when I get home I’m home. He gets stuck having to drive from my house to Kennesaw (oh well, its usually the other way around for me).

I got a new application for blogging that I’m trying out right now. Its called MarsEdit (it was so much easier to setup versus the Blogo program). This one also was able to pull all my previous posts for easy editing (if need be). This is the first post from it, so it’ll be my test pilot. For now though I’m going to go back to watching prison gang-bangs LoL!

Square Peg /= Round Hole

Monday, February 4th, 2008

Ever feel like wherever you go, you just don’t fit in? That’s me! I look around me and all I see are people that just pass by. I feel like I know everyone, yet I don’t know anybody. It’s like the worst of both worlds (yea I’m practically quoting Hanna Montana & Simple Plan all in the same sentence). Looking around I see people but no one I really care to know, and yet I want to know the world. It’s like wanting something on the other side of the round hole in the fence. You can see it, and its what you want, but you’re a square peg and can’t fit though. I don’t want to conform to the round ways to fit in, but I don’t feel like I can do anything being so square.

Even reading what I just wrote doesn’t make sense to me. It sounded logical coming out of my fingers but now it looks like gibberish. I’m just so worried, and nervous, and excited, but mostly worried. Over many things, most of which would bring an I told you so from most people. *sigh* I can only hope for the best, and try to put it out of my mind for now. I’d rather be excited but I know the more I ponder the more worried I will be.

Gahh!!! I need a sleeping pill so I won’t dream again tonight.

Mobile Uploading

Friday, February 1st, 2008

SunsetThrew up a random picture from my phone. Testing out uploading it from my mobile and then testing to see if there was a way to place it into a post. This wasn’t the easiest nor the cleanest thing to do, but I was able to do it. As rare as I find myself posting pictures inside of my blog I think this will suffice for now. I’ve impressed myself that this early in the morning, being as tires as I am that I was able to come up with such a duh shit solution. Oh well, it is entirely too late, I am going to bed. Nitey nite world!
