Kittie.

LokiToday, at 2:30pm a little black & white kitten was saved from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter. Billy and I went to look at cats, and we found the cutest little kitten. After all the adopting paperwork, and a bumpy ride home in the carrier, we have a new member of the family. Yoshi has taken well the little one, Plum is not as easy to please though. Only time will tell. I’m sure Billy will post a better and longer story on his site. Go read here.

  1. [...] For some strange reason I feel obligated to provide a “better and longer” story after Kevin’s last post. Now that the new kitten has a name I suppose I can actually talk about it. For those who aren’t up to date on Norse mythology “Loki” is the Norse god of mischief (and evil, but that’s not the point). After spending a few days with the kitten I’ve learned that he’s never about to do what you think, so the mischief mantra seemed fitting. He’ll curl up on your chest, purr, close his eyes, and then jump up to bite your nose. My personal favorite is his tendency to run up to you, rub against your ankles for a few seconds, and then leap up and attach himself to your thigh. It’s of course only really fun when you don’t happen to have pants on. [...]
