Why am I posting?

Friday, July 28th, 2006

I’m tired of my RSS Screen Saver saying the same things over and over. In all honesty and fairness I haven’t posted lately because nothing has really changed or happened. I’m still living on false hopes that I’ll get to go back to my store for work. Still putting away money on my down-payment fund for my new car. Billy’s hair is still growing back. Loki is still a hellian. Oh and I’m about to kill Yoshi. See nothing has really changed. Oh I’ve gained weight thats change, fuck me.

Down-Payment Wanted: $2,000.00

Skrimped Currently: $1,244.54

Still Need: $755.46

It will probably be my luck that when I get enough free cash, I won’t be able to find what I want. Bah.

LokiToday, at 2:30pm a little black & white kitten was saved from the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter. Billy and I went to look at cats, and we found the cutest little kitten. After all the adopting paperwork, and a bumpy ride home in the carrier, we have a new member of the family. Yoshi has taken well the little one, Plum is not as easy to please though. Only time will tell. I’m sure Billy will post a better and longer story on his site. Go read here.

Pop-ArtAfter having an awful headach, plus working all day, I am rather tired. I want to get out of the house, but Kroger just doesn’t sound that interesting. I’m watching cartoons, so blah. Anyway, I made the pop-art type image on the left. Its cute, or atleast I think so. You know I must really be bored if I am using photoshop.

Billy has me drinking Chai, its kinda creepy. I really like it, but I hate milk. For anyone thats never had it, imaging putting a glass of skim milk in a blender, with a ginger-bread cookie. It really tastes good, but it makes my tummy hurt when I drink too much. Good thing i’m not lactose.

Yoshi was being so sweet a little while ago. He crawled up on my stomach, layed down, and suckled on my shirt. So cute.

Awwwe.

While I was in the shower, Billy made a video of Yoshi playing fetch. So many people do not believe us when we tell them the cat plays fetch, among other things. He’s really smart, and really stupid all at the same time. I think its because he’s a black cat, but thats just me. Anyway, go check out the movie.

Special Note of Thanks.

Tuesday, July 4th, 2006

I just wanted to give a special note of thanks, to my wonderful boifriend. Of which without I would go completely insane, both at home and at work. He’s been so sweet at keeping me company at work at night, and helping us (people at work) finish projects. I love you baby!

Much more productive..

Tuesday, July 4th, 2006

..day at work than yesterday. I was so afraid I was going to get yelled at for not getting much done yesterday, and also having someone quit on me *blush*. But thankfully no; the new boss, Joe, just simply asked me the circumstances of last night, showed me what they did today both finishing from yesterday, and new project, told me what needed to be done, I added things I wanted to accomplish, made a list and that was that. Thankfully even though it rained we stayed rather slower tonight so I got my whole list finished, and caught up with the sales we missed out on yesterday.

Now if only I could catch up some sleep tonight. Ahh sominex will help with that I hope.

Never have I ever..

Monday, July 3rd, 2006

..felt as though my job security was threatened. Until now I’ve never felt scared about my job, I thought the only way I would ever leave, would be voulentary (because I definatly don’t want to work there forever). Here lately even though I have done nothing wrong, I haven’t done too much of anything. After being temporarily reloacted, It wasn’t my place to be ‘proactive’ I was simply there to count the money, and turn the key. Now that it has become my permenant home (againt my wishes) It looks bad that I wasn’t, and still don’t feel proactive. I’ve given my all at my store, It doesn’t feel worth it here. All the changes in management and new/different people look at me as if i’m stupid and don’t know anything. I’ve ran a fucking store by myself with no problems for four months, and I want to go back to it. I am not stupid, and I hate being treated like not only am I stupid, but i’m being watched over by unfamiliar people, just waiting to fire me for no reason.

I really hate the feeling in the pit of my stomach, something bad feels like its going to happen.

I'm sleepy.

Saturday, July 1st, 2006

Blah Blah, I know it has been quite a while since I posted. Billy covered most of the pride disappointments on his site. Work has been quite horrendous this week. The district manager was fired last Friday, which was a small victory. Unfortunately her temporary replacement is a complete asshole. He is of the opinion that just because our store was the reason she was fired, we are the cause. You have to understand, that none of us that work there, were around when all the crap happened, we’re part of the aftermath. Moving on, a much bigger annoyance this week was Thursday. I was scheduled to work from nine until five, and our regional director (in absence of a district manager) found another manager from another store, to fill in so we’d have someone to close. Conveniently enough they never showed, everyone higher up played stupid, and the temporary asshole told me that being a full-time manager means I have to cover up mistakes when they get made. In other words, I worked 15 hours that day open to close, then opened again on Friday for another nine-hour shift. He had the nerve to ask me earlier if I wanted overtime, I politely declined, and he had the audacity to say to me “You don’t need the money?” What an ass-wipe.

Other than working way too fucking much, that is all that has really gone on this week. Speaking of the awful hell, I need to get ready for it. I’ll keep everyone posted.

Oh and Billy has the pictures from pride up on his site too.
